Today’s strike action throughout the Civil Service is due to cause minor disruptions to the Rural Payments Agency (RPA). The disruptions will be fall hardest on farmers using frontline services, primarily when calling the Customer Service Centre.
The RPA cannot give an exact estimation as to the extent of the strike action, but has stated that the call centre will be able to offer a limited service. However cattle farmers who use the British Cattle Movement Service will still be able to use the CTS Online service to apply for cattle passports and report movements. |
