North Wales Buffalo is a family run business in North Wales, where Water Buffalo were first introduced to Halkyn Mountain in 1998 when fifty were imported from Romania.

We aim to become a market leader in the production and distribution of top quality Water Buffalo products through out the United Kingdom.

The farm consists of 100 acres of land, with the farm house looking out over the river Dee estuary and beyond.

North Wales Buffalo Dairy Produce:

Milk is available on wholesale basis to processors through the Water Buffalo Co-operative.

Our other products are made from pasteurised milk and the cheeses are made using vegetarian rennet.

Soft Fresh Cheese: An individual fresh cheese which is exceptionally creamy with a hint of caramel.

Ripened Soft Cheese: This is a white rinded cheese which is buttery and mild when young, but if left to mature it becomes rich and nutty.

Yoghurt: A thick set Greek style natural yoghurt without any additive. Delicious on its own, mixed with honey or jam or as a topping over fruit. Also superb for mixing with mayonnaise or sauces and as a base for marinades.

Ice cream: A creamy ice cream, but not tasting as rich as some.
